Some DIY of mine

I know, I know...it's been more than a year since I posted.  But really...who reads my blog anyway!?!?!   I've moved,  and now am Lease/Purchasing a beautiful 4 bedroom-2 bath brick home on a 3/4 acre lot.  It needs work...LOTS of work...but what home doesn't really?
Anyway...I just wanted to show off my DIY project.   This dresser was bought when I was expecting my Noah, who is now ELEVEN!   It cost me $5 and has been in constant use since we bought it.  It has been storing some craft supplies for about 5 years now...and I decided last week to have at it.

I used some OOPS paint that I paid $5 for a gallon...and the drawer pulls I made from stuff I had around here.  The top pulls are actually mini balls of chunky yarn.  WHICH...my cat promptly tore off and made off with...so they will have to be replaced with something less attractive to the creep! LOL!  The second pulls are made of some large beads I had.  The third are actually small sections of a pincushion and the bottom pulls are spools of thread.  Since I sew, crochet, knit, embroider, scrapbook, make jewelry and am addicted to pincushions...I thought this was a cute representation.
